After reading the Cut-up I felt it wasn't that shocking this means I felt both texts at the end were kind of related. I thing the Cut-up is subtle and not as extreme as some others. The only thing I couldn't understand is why you used the same sentence twice. But at the end it was successful but not as controversial and opposite as I would like it to be,
